We welcome you to our vacation resort Zeltingen-Rachtig on the Middle Moselle. Look forward to a freshly renovated (June 2020), ground-level vacation apartment with two separate bedrooms. The apartment convinces with two entrances, one of which can be reached without steps. A free parking space is located directly at the house. An outdoor seating for cozy hours is offered in the courtyard. In the immediate vicinity, only 2 minutes walk from our apartment, is the village store Gansen. The village store offers among other things a wide range of fresh baked goods and meat and sausage specialties. The Mosel cycle path runs 60 meters away from the house, the nearest bus stop and boat landing stage can be reached after 500 meters.

Our free apartment Nikolaus is located on the first floor of the Nikolausufer. Since the apartment is on the opposite side of the street, it is a very quiet apartment. There are two windows, which end in an atrium and flood the apartment with daylight. You will find a public, free parking lot directly on the opposite side of the street. Bicycle storage is available in the basement (located on the ground floor).

Today you can experience the historic charm with the convenience of the 21st. Century. The apartment was completely renovated in 2012. Step out of the lovely furnishings right into the historic city center. The marketplace with its timbered houses; bakery, small grocery store, restaurants and boutiques, are only a few steps away. Relax while you are taking walks through the scenic town, hikes through the vineyards, a river cruise on the Mosel or excursions to other romantic towns. For example; you can visit Trier, Luxemburg or the Eifelmaare. Vacation rental We have furnished our vacation rental “Altstadt” (old town) with lots of love, and are very happy that the German Tourism Association (DTV) has awarded our efforts with four stars. The overall appearance, comfort as well as the infrastructure of our house has been reviewed. Our house belongs to the cultural monument zone. All work that has to be done on the outside of the home has to be approved by the Antiquities and Monuments office. However, on the inside we had the freedom to build small, modern bathrooms and to lay all electrical work under plastering. We replaced all night- storage heaters with individually controlled infrared heating systems. These are the only changes we did to the house, in order to keep the old charm with wooden doors and old timber floorboards as much as possible. The town of Bernkastel-Kues offers many culinary and cultural delights and sights. Two outdoor pools invite you to swim, splash around and sunbathe in summer (Bernkastel-Kues and Kröv). Other highlights include the Machern Monastery on the opposite bank of the Moselle, the 160-metre-high bridge of the Hochmosel crossing, the garden of varieties, the lock and the sundials in Zeltingen and Wehlen. Our hotel "Rieslinghaus" is centrally situated but in a quiet side street (Hebegasse). To the back of the hotel (or is it now the new front) is the the Karlsbaderplatz, a place to sit outside enjoy the scenery, have a glass of wine (or two) or enjoy a meal in a pleasant atmosphere. We have eight pleasant individual rooms, clean, tidy and well looked after and all rooms are none smoker rooms.

Cosy and typical for the region: this is our small winegrower's house "Haus Vitis". It is located close to the centre, in a quiet cul-de-sac on the riverside road, with direct access to the Moselle cycle path. The living space of 104m² is spread over 3 floors: on the ground floor there is the kitchen with following dining room; on the middle floor is the bathroom, a bedroom and the open reading area. In the studio upstairs under the roof, the room with half-timbered beams combines a bedroom/living room and lounge. With 2 double beds and a sofa bed, Haus Vitis is ideal for 6 holidaymakers. The house is newly renovated, equipped with new modern furniture, peppered with antiques. The love for detail can be felt in every room.  Lockable bicycle cellar for 4 bicycles

Our house is located in a quiet residential area. In the same street there is a restaurant with home-style cuisine in the immediate vicinity. In the village itself there is a general physician and a dentist, two car workshops and a bicycle shop, as well as a small grocery market.

Our house situated in the centre of Zeltingen is surrounded by the vineyards and picturesque Moselle. You may do cycling tours (bike rental possible), boat trips (2 minutes walk to the mooring), bus tours (Trier, Luxemburg, Koblenz, etc.).
